We first had a rich conversation in which we explored our interests, preferences and don’t want, while receiving plenty suggestions to choose from. Aamir prepared an itinerary, organized hotels and Havelis that fit our budget, as well as guides when needed. He followed our journey from Delhi to make sure everything was unfolding as it should, making any adjustments required or reassuring us when we might have been apprehensive. This included pointing us to the right hospital in Jaipur when we had an emergency. Aamir also booked train tickets and private drivers for other legs of our India trip even if these were not tied to our main tour. We found both Aamir and CS very accommodating, friendly, respectful and professional. Meeting them shortly after our arrival gave us a taste of India hospitality and relieved us of the complications of not knowing how things really work here.

Despite that our 3 hour trip went well, arriving in Agra on time to meet our guide for the day(sorry forget his name). Due to the weather we changed our schedule so it was Baby Taj followed by Agra Fort then on to Taj. Throughout our Guide gave a great commentary on the historical and construction facts. Baby Taj was beautiful and the marble artwork exquisite, such craftsmanship. Agra Fort was equally impressive but in a different way altogether. Then it was on to the Taj, or so we thought, but we had a bonus visit to the Taj workshop for a demonstration on the marble inlay work that has been handed down by craftsman over the generations. There was an opportunity to buy some marble ornaments, memorabilia etc in their small shop onsite. By now the sun was out and fog burnt away so it was off to the Taj. Speechless is the only description one can give when you first see it through the entrance gateway. It must be number 1 of the 7 wonders of the world it is that beautiful from which ever angle one looks. Finally, it was lunch @ Marriott hotel, lovely Indian buffet, salad bar and Indian specialities and ice cream to end a lovely meal. Then it was time to hit the Highway with Pradeep back to Delhi. We commend Pradeep, safe, competent, professional driver and extremely friendly and courteous.👏🙏🏾
